We are seeking a sales assistant for Alpaca Culture who has the gift of connecting with people in person and on the phone. The successful candidate is someone who has an inner drive for success, thinks strategically and has the determination and ability to close sales from leads generated in-house.

Duties and Skills:
•    Advertising sales for international magazine.
•    Follow up on all leads, no matter what delivery system.
•    Procure advertisers and sponsors for magazine.
•    Connect and communicate with established and potential advertisers to sell multiple ad products in print and digital formats.
•    Maintain meticulously correct and detailed records across the board.
•    Must have a real interest in people and an ability to authentically connect with them.
•    Religious follow up with all leads; obsession about capturing the latest information.
•    Interact with sales manager and other members of the team.
•    Utilize customer service software effectively.
•    Computer and online competence, Apple preferred.
•    According to Alpaca Culture production schedule, contact past advertisers.
•    Follow up daily on all tasks on customer database.
•    Contact news leads.
•    Contact contributor list.
•    Add meticulous notes to customer database software, without fail.
•    Mailings.
•    Answer Alpaca Culture phone and check messages.
•    Mail merge skills highly appreciated.

•    Self-motivation, determination, goals, responsibility.
•    Reliable transportation and stable home life.
•    High ethical values and intuition.
