BROWNSBURG — Yoga is an ancient practice of physical, mental and spiritual disciplines developed in India. It has become a popular form of exercise in the United States.

And there are different kinds: hot yoga, chair yoga, candlelight yoga, paddleboard yoga.

So why not add alpacas?

Yes, alpacas.

“Peace Through Yoga,” and Montrose Farms will co-host Alpaca Yoga from 1-4 p.m. Sept. 15 at Montrose Farms, 3750 N. C.R. 950 E., Brownsburg.

Participants can achieve balance and get in touch with nature in a unique setting.

“Reach a higher consciousness and become aware of their personal nature through yoga while surrounded by agrarian nature, with chickens, ducks and other animals in a pastoral setting,” said Mindi Epstein, owner Real Life Yoga Immersion.
