Youngsters welcomed a whole host of farm animals to school.

Pupils at Higher Lane Primary School in Whitefield were able to get up close and personal with a range of animals when Bowland Farm visited the school.

Sheep, alpacas and ducks were welcomed on to the school field in Egerton Road, on Friday.

Children were given the opportunity to stroke, feed and even walk some of the animals.
