You can now take alpacas for a walk at Marsh Farm in South Woodham Ferrers

Have you ever wondered what would make a good family pet but don't want a dog or cat?

Then alpacas could be for you!

Marsh Farm, in South Woodham Ferrers, is the only place in Essex you can walk with the hilarious animals.

All five of their alpacas arrived at the farm in July, and two of them - Cryptonite and Quantum - have been trained to walk with children.

Lyssa Elstere, Chief Commercial officer, at Marsh farm said: "We are always looking for innovative ideas and we try to create as many animal interactions as possible."

We asked Livestock Supervisor, Alanna Pitchford, and Livestock Assistant, Enola Evans, why alpacas make such good pets.
